Herky has an incredibly diverse background in business consulting, training, speaking an entertaining. As President/CEO of his own company, Foothills Youth & Family Services since 1992, Herky has had contracts with numerous clients to provide such services as; program management, curriculum development and implementation, leadership training, community development, workplace management, team building, customer service, and more.

Herky is a creative, outside-the-box thinker that uses humour, music, and a variety of other tools to deliver his programs and training. Some examples of his work include; creating projects that examined the generational differences in organizations and how to manage them, devising tools to help people find their career passion through the types of music that they listen to, coaching senior management on how to have “difficult conversations” with their staff, training organizations on implementing a performance management model, facilitating strategic planning sessions with organizations, and developing a Youth Connections program in Southern Alberta that served as a model throughout the Province bringing together youth, parents, employers, secondary and post secondary schools, government and community organizations to help youth connect to the world of work.
